Your household can start for free.
A free household account is not a membership and never turns into one. It asks for no card, it starts no trial, and plenty of families never go past it. That is fine. It is how you belong here.
One sign-in for your household
Sign up with an email address or a phone number, and a password. That is the whole form.
Add the people you are responsible for
Your household members live in one place, so you are not retyping names and ages every time.
Register for programs you are eligible for
Each program page states its own price and its own rules, and those are all published.

Having an account is not a condition of asking, and asking is not visible to other families.
Why membership exists
Membership helps keep the village going.
Paying members are not buying a discount card. They are the reason a shared space can plan ahead, keep good people, and leave the door open for households that cannot pay right now.

A place that stays open
A building costs money every month, not only in the months something is on. Regular support is what lets us plan a whole term instead of one weekend at a time.

People who keep showing up
Teachers, mentors and the people who run programs are paid for the work. Steady income is what lets us offer someone a season rather than a single evening.

Room for more families
Membership helps sustain the programs that cost nothing to attend, and it is part of what funds the Access Fund for households that need it.

UMMA Center Access Fund
If cost is getting in the way, talk to us privately.
Support starts with a private conversation. There is no form to download and no income documentation needed to start one. Saying the price does not work for us is a complete request.
What we agree depends on your household, the program, and what the fund can carry at the time. It ranges from a reduced rate to a full waiver. It is agreed privately, it applies on its own after that, and nobody nearby can tell.

No. UMMA Center is open to you whether you pay us anything or not. Friday Nights cost nothing to attend, for members and non-members alike, and a free household account is not a membership.
It is how we know who is in the room. You sign up with an email address or a phone number and a password, you can add the people in your household, and you can register for programs you are eligible for. No card is asked for at any point, it is not a trial, and it does not turn into a paid membership on its own.
Each paid plan states its own number in the comparison above, and one payment covers that many people in one household. If your household is larger than that, contact us before choosing a plan. Pricing for extra household members is not finished, so we would rather agree it with you than publish a figure we cannot yet charge.
The comparison above lists every one, read from the same records registration charges against. If a program is not in that table, membership does not change what you pay for it. Where a rule is still being settled, the table says so instead of guessing.
No. Homebase has its own application, tuition, schedule and enrollment process, and it is not part of any family membership. Its tuition is also assessed separately from the Access Fund, during the application conversation.

Yes. The pause applies only to new paid memberships. Sign in to see your plan, who it covers, your billing date and your payment history. The policies page sets out what pausing, switching and cancelling each do to your money.
We are finishing the account and billing experience, and we would rather not take a recurring payment until that is properly done. Nothing is cancelled and nobody has lost a place. Free household accounts, the programs that cost nothing, and every existing membership are all unaffected.
